As you all know, I have been in this industry for quite a while now, and have seen several different ways to sell title insurance. But I would like to express to you how much the training with Charlotte Landram has done for me.
When I first moved to sales, I was a little concerned, not only because I was starting a new position, but I needed to figure out how I could help a struggling office. Within 30 days, I was introduced to Charlotte and told I would have a 45 minute coaching session with her, over the phone, every month. Since that first call, I have been impressed with everything Charlotte has suggested or co-created with me. I would love to take credit for all the recent success in West Jordan, but it would not be right if I didn’t give Charlotte the credit she deserves.
Most recently, we had our “Prospecting Class” with her. I must admit, I felt as though I was pretty good at prospecting on my own. But Charlotte, once again, did not let me down. She had great ideas and great quotes that she used to inspire us. Something in this class caused me to stay up that night until 2:00 am implementing what she taught us into my own system. Tuesday morning, I had a Sales Meeting scheduled with Exit Realty, and a scheduled continuing education class at All-Pro Realty right after that. I decided to try just one of the items Charlotte imprinted on my mind the day before. In both meetings, I had a very limited amount of time to stand in front of the prospects and tell them about our services and products. Charlotte’s simple solution was to create a sign up sheet with nothing but a place for names and phone numbers, and explain that “First American Title” is the biggest company in the state with an enormous amount of products and services that we can provide to help increase professionalism, and in turn, increase sales for agent. If any of you are interested in meeting with me for a one on one and learning about these items, please put your name and number down on this sign up sheet and I will call you to set an appointment.” Out of these two meetings, I had 22 people sign the sheet. AMAZING!!!! The sign up sheet took less than 5 minutes to create and it took about 10 seconds to add the verbiage to my introductions. So it took a total of 5 minutes and 20 seconds to create 22 new contacts.
This is only one very small thing I added to my system that Charlotte has trained us to do. I am forever indebted to her for what she has done for my career and can’t wait for what is coming next………….?
